Gail has been expanding her repertoire lately, adding new cookies to our Sweets list. She has been tinkering with a vegan recipe and come up with a lovely Oatmeal, Walnut, Fresh Apple and Raisin. There's also a Spelt and Raspberry Jam Thumbprint (no wheat!) and a Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chunk. Rest assured, she's still doing her well-loved Chocolate Chunk, Almond and Coconut. They all join Maeda's Chocolate Cake (and Seasonal Breads) on the counter for a tempting spread.

On September 25th, Dynamic Dish will take part in Chews Local: A Local Food Celebration, a Georgia Organics event launching the third edition of the Local Food Guide to Georgia (pdf) and Atlanta Local Food Initiative's plan for Atlanta's Sustainable Food Future (pdf.) Also participating are The Glenwood, Graveyard Tavern, The Shed at Glenwood and Kasan Red. David will be making hors d'oeuvres for the reception and a soup course for the dinner. This one promises tasty fun and a sense of community.

Also, David will be cooking for the Kudzu Supper Club's "field to table" dinner on November 8th, entitled, Dynamic Dish "Urban Gardens with David Sweeney". Location is secret and tickets, at $125, are still available.
