
The tasting on Wednesday evening was a great success! With the back garden open and the spring breezes at play, the event had a relaxed and inviting feel to it. David did a tasting of
edible flowers and
Georgia strawberries. Allison (
Antico Mercante) came with some gorgeous cheeses including a fabulous
blue goat cheese. Diane (
Magnolia Bread) brought a few kinds of her
artisanal, organic bread, the
flaxseed bread and the seasonal
tomato ciabatta were standouts. Hardy (
Dirty South Wine) and Nick of Avant Partir were there, sharing their passion for tasty wines. Particular favorites were the
Chardonnay and the
Mencia. All of this inspires, informs and complements the fare at
Dynamic Dish. Also, makes for a great
picnic.
